Meet the Team
The dream of creating experiences and a magical world in the heart the wilderness.
The journey of building a dream has not been a straight one. I grew up in a small village about 20 kilometers north of Älvdalen, where the forest was, quite literally, my second home. Nature shaped my childhood and became a place of belonging from an early age.
At 15, I left home to explore the world and to work in the cities. In 2019, while living and working in Stockholm, my younger brother Erik and I founded No Connection. We wanted to create a sanctuary from mobile phones and constant digital noise, something I already felt was taking too much time and attention away from what matters most in life.
A few years later, I returned to Älvdalen to take over a wilderness lodge that had been around since the 1960s. The place completely overwhelmed me in the best possible way. Since then, I have devoted myself to building an oasis where people can reconnect with themselves, with the living forest, and with new people.
But the journey did not unfold as planned. In 2022, my younger brother Erik passed away, and my world collapsed. I came very close to letting go of the dream of Navardalen and No Connection. But this place carried me through, and the forest became part of my healing. Today, I understand more deeply than ever how vital a place like Navardalen can be.
