Facility
Is there a toilet and shower?
We have simple outdoor toilets on site. Instead of conventional showers, guests bathe in the lake and use warm water heated by the sauna stove.
Raven, our luxury floating accommodation, is equipped with an incinerating toilet for added comfort.
Is there electricity and running water?
Navardalen is an off-grid experience, and that is part of its unique character. We do not offer conventional electricity or running water. Water is collected from the stream, and heat is provided by wood-burning stoves.
It is a simple way of living that allows guests to slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy the rhythm of life without modern distractions.
How many accommodations are there on site?
We offer several different types of accommodation in Navardalen:

one larger lodge with 12 beds

one cabin with a double bed

one glamping tent with space for up to four guests

Raven, our floating luxury accommodation for two on the lake
This variety allows us to welcome both couples, families, and groups.
Can I book the entire site in Navardalen?
Yes, it is possible to book the entire site for private groups, retreats, or special gatherings. Full-site bookings are available upon request.

Is there a sauna?
Yes, we have a wood-fired sauna by the lake, available to all guests staying on site. It is one of the most appreciated parts of the experience and offers a simple, traditional way to unwind close to nature.
Is it allowed to bring a dog?
We would like your dog to come with us.
We allow dogs in all our accommodation as long as you keep it on a lead and take the wildlife in the forest into account.It is not allowed to bring dog to Raven, our floating accomodation on the lake.

Food and special diets
What food should I bring if I’m staying with you? Are there refrigeration facilities?
All of our accommodations are equipped with a fridge, a small freezer, a Trangia kitchen, and a griddle. Many guests also enjoy cooking outdoors on our griddles, which adds to the experience of staying in the wilderness.
For inspiration, we recommend visiting Dalum’s website, where you will find excellent recipes suited for griddle cooking.
I have an allergy. Can you adapt the food if I book a retreat or similar?
Yes, in most cases we can adapt meals to allergies or special dietary requirements. Please make sure to read the information and terms for each retreat, as they may vary.
Since we are based in a wilderness setting, it is important that you let us know well in advance so we can prepare in the best possible way. Please note that we can never guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. If needed, it is your responsibility to bring any medication and to inform us clearly about your allergy or dietary needs when booking.
Can I book lunch or dinner without accommodation?
Yes, it is possible to book lunch or dinner with us without staying overnight.
Please note that we accept meal bookings for groups of at least 10 people. For bookings and enquiries, please contact us at info@no-connection.se.

Screen policy
Screen rest & digital detox:
We have a screen-free policy. This means that when you book a retreat via
No Connection then our screen-free policy applies. This means that we lock mobile phones & other technology together upon arrival. We have been doing this since 2018 & has been our signature & has led to incredible presence, brain rest, fantastic community & rest from must & demands.
We want to create screen-free oases where we work with presence and calm.
Please respect this even when you visit our café or an event without overnight accommodation. If you book the entire facility in Navardalen through your company or as a group, you/you choose whether you want to drive screen-free or not.
But we always recommend it.
Is there an emergency phone number in case something happens?
Absolutely! There is always an emergency telephone on site. Your relatives will also be given a phone number to call if something happens at home.
