Slow Craft Retreat

Join us for a weekend where we trade our phones and constant information flow for grounded, slow activities that help us return to a more balanced state. We’ll find presence through-back gatherings where we learn the basics of knitting, cook together over an open fire, and enjoy the sauna with cold baths and natural products. For those looking to further calm their nervous system, we also offer somatic body movements and breathing exercises.
Slow Craft: Learn the basics of slow craft through the meditative rhythm of knitting. Craft becomes a path to presence, stillness, and focus. A beginner’s kit is included.
The Craft of Fire: An introduction to cooking over an open fire. Together, we explore the basics of working with the flames and creating nourishment from scratch. All meals during the retreat are included.
Somatic Movement & Breathwork: We guide you through breathwork and somatic movement practices to help regulate and rebalance the nervous system.
Nature Spa & Recovery: Sauna, invigorating cold plunges, and self care with natural products in the stillness of the forest.
A Local Food Philosophy: We enjoy nature based meals prepared with ingredients that are gentle on both the body and the planet.
Human Connection: We replace digital noise with genuine connection. Easygoing time together and conversations that are given space to unfold around the fire.
Price: 6950 SEK
You only pay the booking fee now, which is SEK 1,500. This amount is non-refundable. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before arrival, and a payment link will be sent to you by email together with further information about the retreat.

A packing list, further information, an invitation to the WhatsApp group chat, and emergency contact details for next of kin will be sent to you before the retreat.

Arrival is at 1:30 pm on 1 May, when check in will take place, followed by a shared soup lunch.

Departure is at 1:00 pm on Sunday, 3 May.

The nearest train station is Mora Station. You can book a transfer by emailing info@no-connection.se. The cost is SEK 500 per person for a return transfer. Pick up in Mora is at 11:45 am.
